SAD!!!

Yesterday a man dropped off a newborn at DePaul hospital in norfolk. He placed him in luggage and lefgt him outside in front of the hospital. It makes me sad that someone could do that. Being a mother I would never be able to give up my baby. Hopefully they will find him a family who loves him.

Morning radio

This morning on the radio they were aking a question about an incident that occured between these two women and a child. The mother of the child was upset at the other lady because she discliplined her child by spanking him. They were asking if people felt it was appropriate for this lady (who didn't know the lady or her child) to spank the child. What do you think?

Bad Weekend

I had a rough end of the week last week! I had the flu and really felt bad. I couldn't breathe and was in pain. Man the flu is bad. Not only that but to keep my baby from getting sick my mother kept her at her house until I got better. I missed her so much! She's my little munchkin and I love her so much all of my free time is spent with her! She is my everything!

Just some random thoughts.... I am a single mother of a beautiful 3mnth old girl. She is really amazing and has really made me discover some things about myself as well as help me mature in what seems like a matter of minutes. She has given me strength that I never thought a woman could have and has made me love myself more than ever before. I mean how can I love her and care for her if I dont fully love myself. I thnak GOD for her everyday and pray that she will always be healthy and safe.

Respect?

Today in church my pastor bought to our attention about the outburst of Rep. Wilson when President Obama was giving his speech on health care. He was saying that it was very disrespectful and that to him the republican party is hypicritical in some of the things they do and say. I don't think that no other president in our history has been shown so much disrespect. One point he made was how when the church was set up in biblical times everyone came together and combined what they had so no one was without anything, and how the republicans say they are christians but want only for self and not whats good for everyone. I totally agree that we should all give the president a chance to do what he said he would do before anyone calls him a liar or votes him out of office. We elected him based on what he believed and we should support his plan 100%!

"News"

I was just thinking about somethigs earlier and decided to put my thoughts on here. Bad news is not necessarily a bad thing...It can help you leave things in the past and give you a push to move on with your future. Life throws lots of things at you and its not what happens but how you handle it. Its like the saying, when life throws you lemons make lemonade!

Excited About This Year

I am very excited to be here this semester. At first I was wishing I was still in Richmond, but being here with my family and meeting new people is exactly what I needed to move forward with my life. Here's to a new beginning.... taking it a day at a time!!!
